Delta Community Forum Back Online

The Delta News Web Community forum is back in operation! We have been working on this for some weeks now, and we have a usable version up and running.

We have used three types/versions of forum software in the last 7 years and I'm hoping that this one will last a while longer. This software is widely used on the Internet and well supported. It is quite different from the earlier forum, but it is also very, very sophisticated.

Our programmer, Simon, was able to import your usernames and passwords. If you have ever posted on the Delta News Web forum, you should be able to just use your existing authentication to post again.

We looked at the possibility of importing messages from the old forum. As we examined this, we saw that it would be at least an order of magnitude more difficult than importing the membership roll. I made the decision to abandon the earlier messages.
