Gas Pipeline Forum
The public is invited to attend a Gas Pipeline Forum on April 26, 2006 at 12:30pm in the old library at City Hall, hosted by the Delta Chamber of Commerce and the City of Delta Junction. Bill Noll, Commissioner of Commerce and Mary Ann Pease and Chuck Logdson, Gasline Advisors with Governor Murkowski’s Office, will present a power point presentation on the gasline’s progress.
Some topics include: Why is the timing right for building the gasline now? What does it mean to the State of Alaska and to Delta Junction? What would be the amount of revenue generated? What is Petroleum Production Tax (PPT)? PPT is a big issue in the Legislature right now so how will the outcome affect the building of the gasline? What steps have already been taken and what steps need to be taken to make the gasline a reality?
A “no holds barred” question and answer session will follow the presentation. Feel free to bring a brown bag lunch with you to this meeting.
