New This Year-Lumberjack Events at the Friendly Frontier Days
The Friends of Delta Agriculture are sponsoring lumberjack events all day during the Friendly Frontier Days.
Crosscut sawing wvents will be held during the morning from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Cross-cut events will include Jack and Jack (man vs man) Jack and Jill (man and woman) and Jill and Jill (woman and woman) events.
During the afternoon there will be chainsaw events as well as ax throwing competitions.The age limit for these events is 16. Anyone under the age of 18 must have parental/guardian consent. Consent and insurance liability waiver forms will be available throughout the day.
The entry fee will be $5.00 per person per event. Sausage snack sticks will be the prizes for the events.
