Photo of the day - August 4

The Goodpasture River at flood stage just below Indian Creek. This was taken during the month of June when we had all of our rain for weeks.
This is a picture of the mountains above Indian Creek across from Pogo and what remains after the fire a few years ago. The two photos were taken at Pogo Mine. Many of us have no idea what Pogo looks like and Charlie has sent us some photos to share with the readers some of the scenery and views that the workers see each day. The Pogo gold property is located in eastern Alaska, 60 km NE of Delta Junction, and 145Km SE of Fairbanks. Photo Courtesy Charlie Atwell
