Health Alert - Bagged Spinach Recall

A nationwide recall of bagged spinach is in effect. The FDA advises consumers to immediately discard all brands of bagged spinach as they could be contaminated with E COLI bacteria, which cannot be washed away. Anyone who has gotten sick after eating bagged spinach should contact a doctor. The outbreak of E COLI related illness continues to spread and has caused one death. The bacteria can cause low-grade fever, vomiting and diarrhea, often with bloody stool, the FDA said. More information.
