IMPORTANT REAA and CRSA ELECTION INFORMATION

The Division of Elections reminds you that the REAA and CRSA Elections are October 3, 2006. Regular polling places will be open from 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Election Day. If you are unable to go to the polls on Election Day, vote absentee!

To vote by mail, your absentee by mail applications must be received by September 23, 2006 to be eligible to receive a by-mail ballot for the REAA and CRSA Elections.

Absentee in-person voting begins Monday, September 18, 2006 at locations throughout the State of Alaska. You may vote absentee in-person 15 days before an election and on Election Day. If you are unable to go to the polls due to age, serious illness or a disability you may apply for an absentee ballot through a personal representative selected by you to bring you a ballot.
