Gingerbread Dreams Contest

From iced Victorians to candy-covered castles the Delta Chamber of Commerce invites everyone to enter the Gingerbread Dreams Contest. Gingerbread houses have been warming the holidays and fascinating children and adults alike for years. We are pleased to embrace this traditional culinary art form that is both whimsical and a lot of fun for the whole family.

There will be two categories: Category 1 is hand-made gingerbread houses only. Category 2 is for gingerbread kits, graham crackers or pretzel houses or houses of similar materials.

Within each category the age divisions will be: 2-6 yrs old, 7-10 yrs old, 11-17 yrs old and 18 and over. Winners will be awarded ribbons and Chamber Buck Vouchers as prizes.

Entry forms are due to the Delta Chamber office by December 11, and the Awards Reception will be December 15. Complete rules and entry forms are located at the Delta Chamber Office in the Jarvis West Building, Suite 1B, and the Delta Library or call 895-5068 and speak with Dawn.
