Jack Coghill's visit to Delta

Living history came to Delta last Saturday when former Lt. Governor Jack Coghill spoke to local Boy Scouts and an appreciative crowd at the Delta Library. Mr. Coghill brought his own original copy of the Alaska Constitution, and other memorabilia, including the old style fountain pen he used to sign the document. Each Scout received a personal copy of the Alaska Constitution, signed to them by Mr. Coghill. The Scouts are working on their Citizenship & the Nation merit badge."
