Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child of Franklin Graham's Samaritan's Purse Organization, brings hope and joy to children all over the globe in desperate situations. The children of Denali Lutheran Preschool packed 20 shoeboxes for boys and girls ages 2-6 filled with toys, treats and hats, socks and gloves. They also included a small handmade book with a class picture and notes from each of them as well as a children's book of the Christmas story. These boxes will go to needy children in eastern Russian provinces for Christmas. In the photo: front row David, Sadie, Hayleigh, Caylin. Seated: Gloria, Alliyah, Jacob, Allison & Katie. Standing: Moses, Drenen, Ashley, Alysa & Ally. The boxes were delivered at a reduced rate by Alaska Motor Coaches to the drop off point in Fairbanks for shipment overseas. Merry Christmas!
