
This ice climber is securing his rope to an ice screw before continuing his accent up an ice clad cliff near Anchorage. He is being belayed by another climber below him. He will continue to install and tie in to anchors to shorten his fall, should that happen, until he reaches the top of the climb, where he will reverse roles, secure himself to an anchor and belay the climber below him until the lower climber reaches his position.
