No, you won’t need to take cover—this is the title of the Easter play to be presented by the Delta Christian Drama Association. Paradise is another original script, penned by Gaylene and George Hosier, the closing words written just last Saturday afternoon, accompanied by a loud, vocal WHEW!
This will be another superb, exciting production, directed by George, sets and costumes by Gaylene, facility by the Assembly of God church, acting by a dedicated and dynamic cast, photography by Ms Carol Watkins, other chores and support by a corps of wonderful volunteers, fund-raising by Ms Wendy Jennings, and financial support by—guess who—YOU and your good-will offerings and attendance.
Fund-raising began on Saturday at the Craft Fair, where donated baked goods and an array of other delectable snacks were purveyed by volunteers all afternoon.
The initial cast meeting and first script reading occurred on Monday, and now the real work begins. To learn how you can assist with the production of this drama, call 895 5289.
