Absentee Voting for Special Election

The Division of Elections reminds you that the Statewide Advisory Special Election is on Tuesday, April 3, 2007. Early and absentee in-person voting for the 2007 Statewide Special Election begins today, Monday, March 19 and will continue through Tuesday, April 3, 2007. To find an absentee voting or early voting location near you, please call your local elections office or visit the State of Alaska, Division of Elections’ website at: www.elections.state.ak.us.

Absentee by mail voting, absentee by FAX voting, and special needs voting is also available. To vote by mail, voters must submit an application by Saturday, March 24, 2007 in order to receive a ballot in the mail for the Special Election. The Division’s Absentee Office will be open on Saturday, March 24 to receive by mail applications. To contact the Absentee Office, please call: (907) 375-6400.
