Ms Susan Grace, an aptly named entertainer from Fairbanks, shared her grace and graciousness as well as her composition and performance skills with enchanted Deltoids on Friday and Saturday.
On Friday evening Susan entertained a rapt audience of 35 in the Community Center, performing with guitar and singing her original material, featuring concerns about the planet and relationships among people who inhabit it.
On Saturday afternoon Susan added her banjo to enchant an audience of 20 at the Community Library, presenting a children’s program of music and stories, a self proclaimed “favorite” of hers.
Then on Saturday evening, Susan joined the monthly gathering of the Delta Sing-a-Long, one of her sponsors for the weekend, along with the Delta Library Board, Alpha Omega Life Care, Inc., and the Polar Pickers. She was promised that she would not be required to “entertain” all evening long, but that we would sing to her, too! Which is exactly what transpired, and what was thoroughly enjoyed by Susan and by the 20 or so local musicians and enthusiasts present.
Reveling in their “mini vacation” in Delta, Susan and her husband Keith relaxed for 2 nights at Kelly’s, toured a bit, looking for Bison and exploring, and enjoying the menu at the Buffalo Diner.
