Is it Pork or Progress?

The proposed North Pole to Delta Railroad project is being scrutinized in the Citizens Against Government Waste "Pig Book" which describes federally funded pork barrel projects. The rail service would support industry and military installations around Fairbanks, the national missile defense system at Fort Greely and infrastructure for a natural gas pipeline.
