Photo of the day - March 10

Photo of a sundog taken at Summit one Sunday afternoon. Sundogs are colorful halos typically positioned 22 degrees to the left and/or right of the sun. They are an optical phenomenon produced when sunlight is refracted as it passes through ice crystals associated with thin high level clouds. Submitted by John Netardus
