Railroad feasability study ready for review

Premier Dennis Fentie and Governor Sarah Palin have yet to meet to discuss the outcomes of the joint Alaska-Yukon railroad study which was completed in July 2006. In January, Fentie announced a meeting with Palin would take place in the "immediate future". The study consists of 225 documents and outlines a route with Carmacks as the hub, a segment heading north to Delta Junction and one heading south to a deep water port in the Inside Passage. Read more
