School news moved to its own separate section

Today we have created a "blog" named Delta/Greely School News to carry school information. The headlines from this blog will appear on the home page of the Delta News Web. There was enough material that our editor, Pam Dunklebarger, felt that it needed its own separate section this year. Already we have quite a bit of material in the new section.

One of the most useful aspects of the blog system is that it allows multiple authors. This really is a new paradigm: it is no longer necessary to funnel all articles through a single editor. Anyone with access to the Delta/Greely School News blog can add content and edit it later. We invite school officials to obtain access credentials -- it only takes an email to Dunklebarger -- and post information useful to parents and students.

We will, of course, continue to post school news and other material like the monthly menu emailed to us.

We hope you find it useful, and as always, we are interested in your comments on how to make this all more useful.
