LEPC, State of Alaska, Social Services and Public Health Center - Holding a Mass Dispensing Clinic

The Delta Greely Local Emergency Planning Committee, along with the State of Alaska Health and Social Services and the Delta Junction Public Health Center will be holding a mass dispensing exercise on Oct. 25th from 2 to 8pm at Delta High School small gym. The exercise is designed to test local health providers’ capacity for responding to a public health emergency such as SARS or Pandemic Flu.

To make the clinic exercise as realistic as possible, seasonal influenza vaccine will be provided free to those who are interested, while supplies last.

Mark your calendar to attend this very important community preparedness exercise, and get a free flu shot if you wish. Adults and children are welcome. Anyone under 18 years of age must have a parent or guardian present to receive the flu vaccine. Remember to wear short sleeves if you are planning to get a shot.
