Blood Drive

The Blood Bank of Alaska will be collecting blood at the Presbyterian Church in Delta Junction. The drive will be on Wednesday, December 12 from 2-7 and on Thursday, December 13 from 9-2. Appointments can be made by contacting Toni Lee at 895-4159.

Blood donation takes approximately 45 minutes and each donation can save up to three different Alaskan lives. Eligible donors are between the ages of 16-74. Sixteen and seventeen year old donors must have parental consent. A state or federal issued photo i.d. is required for registration.

Before donating blood it is important to eat a good meal and to be well hydrated. During this holiday season please take the time to donate blood in your community and to give the "Gift of Life."
