Open House....Fun, Fun, Fun!
The Delta-Greely Skating Association invites YOU to an “Open House” party January 4th, 5th, and 6th at the Liewer-Olmstead Arena.
For our community’s enjoyment and entertainment, we will start the weekend of activities with a Men’s 5 on 5 Tournament.
Grilled hot dogs along with all the assorted condiments; drinks, chips, chili, and more will be available Saturday. Hot cocoa will be served from the score booth.
There will be a presentation from the Figure Skaters. The Association President, Kevin Jenkins will also appreciatively acknowledge all our 2007-2008 Sponsors.
There will be 40 wrapped gifts for the children in attendance. All children under the age of 12 will be given a ticket at the door. Forty tickets will be drawn and the child holding the matching number will be invited out on the ice to select a package. This may take a while. The rental skates will be available on a first come basis for the open skate.
Some rules on skating conduct will be posted inside the arena. ALL SKATERS are to read and follow these rules to ensure the safety of all skaters. These rules are to be followed now and at future community skating.
There will be no charge to our community members for these activities so come and enjoy some ice time.
