The Quest - By Pastor Howard Echo-Hawk

The Father pondered,
the Spirit & Son said Yes

Even though the earth was a mess
the Spirit spoke and so it began…

meanwhile, on Ararat
the Dove did not come back
he flew in search
for a peaceful land
while down below
trumpets began to bellow

He is coming
He is the Man!
only He can heal your land.
and when there was no room for a guest
the dove felt soon
he would end his quest

Angels gasped!

The Son went down

He landed in the bad part of town!
So tiny
So small
Lying on his back

He grew in spite
of the serpents’ attack
then…

He walked
to hear John’s best
and there the dove
finally found rest…

“Behold, the Lamb of God! which taketh away the sin of the world!”
