Polar Bear Plunge Nominations and Votes Being Accepted

It’s Festival of Lights time and it that means it’s also time to vote for the unlucky 3 who will take the Polar Bear Plunge into a frigid pool of Arctic water on Saturday, February 16 at 4:00 pm in the Delta High School parking lot.

To vote for an individual, they must first be nominated. Once nominated, votes can be placed in their name. The top three with the most votes will take the Plunge. Nominations are $5 each and votes thereafter are $1. There are no restrictions on how many times you vote or how many people you nominate.

Clearwater Lodge
Buffalo Center Service
IGA Food Cache
Jacks Liquor Store
Moose Lodge
Mt. McKinley Bank
Sawmill Creek Lodge

The voting cans will be checked weekly and a sheet with names of those nominated and how many votes they have will be posted on the can.

Surely there are those of you out there who might just have a teacher, boss, public official, coach, principal, pastor, or Ft. Greely commander in mind. Don’t be shy! Nominators and voters are kept anonymous and so your secret will be safe!
