Just 49 days left in the Paint the Plane Contest
In celebration of the 50th year of Alaska statehood, Alaskan kids in grades K - 12 are invited to enter the Alaska Airlines "Paint the Plane" contest.
Entries must be postmarked by October 18 and the Grand Prize Winner will have their design featured on a real Alaska Airlines 737 jet.
Also included in the prize package is a trip for four to California Disneyland. Twelve other Disneyland trips will be awarded - one for each grade level.
Entry forms are available at the Delta Community Library, or you can download them at this website: http://painttheplane.com/entryform.aspx .
The winners will be announced in January 2009.
